Shuzo John Shiota graduated from Sophia University, majoring in International Legal Studies.After joining Nippon Steel Corporation in 1991,Shuzo then jumped industries to participate in the launch of Dream Pictures Studio in 1997. He moved to Polygon Pictures two years later and in 2003 assumed the position of President and CEO. The company has since enjoyed exponential growth as the premier digital animation studio in Asia, winning many accolades including multiple Emmy Awards.In 2008, he was selected as one of the "25ToonTitans of Asia" by popular industry publication Animation Magazine. He is also the recipient of the Audi Wired Innovation Award 2016.Shuzo has also juried on many major Japanese and international film festivals, including PrixArsElectronica, SIGGRAPH, Annecy, and Digicon6. He has given talks worldwide, including TEDxKyoto in 2015. In his spare time, Shuzo engages in his life long passion as a vocalist in a classic rock band.

Richard William ALLEN

Richard William Allen is the Dean of School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong and Chair/Professor of Film and Media Art. Previously he was a Professor of Cinema Studies, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. He is author and editor of 9 books on film theory and aesthetics. His publications include Projecting Illusion and two volumes on the philosophy of film and the arts: Film Theory and Philosophy, and Wittgenstein, Theory and the Arts. He is a leading authority on Hitchcock and wrote an influential book, Hitchcock’s Romantic Irony. He is currently completing Bollywood Poetics and beginning a longer-term project on The Passion of Christ and the Melodramatic Imagination. He is a fellow of the Society for the Cognitive Study of Moving Image, and was for many years an editor of the Hitchcock Annual.

Yosep Anggi Noen

Yosep Anggi Noen studied Communications of Socio-Politics Faculty of Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He was selected to participate in Asian Film Academy in Busan. Anggi has made short films and documentaries. Anggi attend Berlinale Talents in 2014.
“Peculiar Vacation and Other Illnesses” is his first feature film, supported by Hubert Bals Fund, was premiered in competition of Festival Film del Locarno 2012 and got special mention Dragon and Tiger Award for Young Cinema at Vancouver International Film Festival 2012. This feature film traveled in 20 festivals worldwide and received 2 national awards from Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia.
His short “A Lady Caddy Who Never Saw a Hole in One” won best short film at Busan International Film Festival 2013 and Grand Prix at Tokyo Short Short Film Festival & Asia 2014.
"Genre Sub Genre" is his experimental short film screened in International Film Festival Rotterdam, Jeonju International Film Festival, Seoul Mediacity and got Jury Prize in Arkipel International Experimental and Documentary Festival 2014.
His "Love Story Not" is a short film that screened at Busan IFF 2015 and International Film Festival Rotterdam 2016 and "Ballad of Blood and Two White Buckets" world premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2018.
Anggi's latest feature film was "Solo, Solitude."

KWAK Jaeyong

KWAK Jaeyong (born in 1959) studied physics at Kyunghee University in Seoul, Korea. Making his debut with (1990)>, he established himself as a world renowned director with the following smash- hit film . This saucy romantic comedy is expected to be remade in the US this year by director Yann Samuell and producer Gold Circle Films.
KWAK also penned the screenplay for Addicted (2002), the original Korean film of the Yari Film Group’s remake, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lee Pace.
Achieving the all-time box office hit (2.7 billion ) with as Korean movies released in Japan, KWAK became the only Korean director who both won the hearts of Asian moviegoers and earned a box office smash. He is known for his limitless fondness of love stories with the mix ofdifferent genres.

Neco Lo che-ying
Animation producer and critic
Neco Lo che-ying is an experienced animation producer and director who began working as an independent animator in 1977. Most of his animation shorts won gold awards at the Hong Kong Independent Short Film Festival ( now IFVA) and were shown at numerous international film festivals.
He worked as animation designer at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) between 1978 and 1993, and was responsible for numerous educational animation and opening titles.
Since the 80s, he has written extensively about animation history as well as teaching animation principles in various university and colleges. In recent years, Neco has been a tireless campaigner for Hong Kong animation, and has curated a number of exhibitions on history of Hong Kong and Taiwanese animation since 2006.
He currently serves as the secretary general of the Hong Kong animation industry and cultural association and is producing a new animation feature in Hong Kong.
