Katsuyuki MOTOHIRO

Katsuyuki MOTOHIRO Director After attending a film school and working at a film maker, Motohiro marked his debut as a film director in 1996 with "July 7th, Hare." The 2003 movie " Odoru daisosasen the movie 2: Rainbow Bridge wo fuusa seyo!" recorded the top boxoffice revenue of all time for liveaction Japanese movies. He has been actively involved in a variety of fields such as TV drama, theater, animation game, music video, short movie as well commercial message. He is also involved in multiple film festivals. In 2015, he directed "Makuga agaru," a film based on a novel by Oriza Hirata and "Momoiro Clover Z" starring in a lead role. He also directed a stageversion of this work. Message

Kanae TAKEUCHI

Kanae TAKEUCHI TV personality / reporter Takeuchi has reported from more than 100 countries in the world for over 20 years as a Mystery Hunter for the Japanese TV program “Discovery of the World's Mysteries”. She is still active as a reporter in Japan and abroad, and also produces hats, bags and shoes using her expertise from her many years of travels.

When we are born into this world, we are grasping a ray of light in our hands. This becomes a unique shining light as it goes through the changes and progress brought about by time, nationality, culture and the many other differences in the environment that surround us. I look forward fully experiencing this shining light.

Yuichi ITO

Yuichi ITO Animation Director Founded I.TOON in 1998. His works include Commercial for Mister Donut “Pon de Lion”, MV “Kimi wa Tomodachi” for Ken Hirai, and ”NORABBITS MINUTES” for Shochiku Co., Ltd. In 2011, he made his original film “HARBOR TALE,” which received the Golden Apple for Best Animated Film, and Golden Slipper for Best Animated Film Audience Awards at the ZLIN International Film Festival for Children and Youth in 2012. His newest film “Blue Eyes -in HARBOR TALE-“ released in 2014 won the Best Animation Award at Universe Multicultural Film Festival in 2015. His most famous series, NHK Petit Petit Anime “Knyacki!”, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. He is a board member of the Japan Animation Association and a professor at the Department of Animation at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of Arts. Message

Tatsutoshi Gon Nomura

Tatsutoshi Gon Nomura Director/Animator/Professor of Tama Art University Department of Graphic Design Born in 1964. Joined Robot Communications Inc. in 1987. After becoming an accomplished commercial message director, Nomura moved on to original animation works with varying techniques, children's books, illustration as well as video installation. His works include animations "Stray Sheep" (Fuji Television) and "Jam the HOUSNAIL" (NHK). He has been teaching animation at his alma mater Tama Art University since 2011. He is also a board director at the Japan Animation Association. Message
I believe we can see many more exciting developments in Asia’s movie and short-film animation industry. Last year I was deeply impressed with the depth and quality of the award-winning works. I look forward to seeing more mind-blowing works this year too!

Nao KUBOTA

Nao KUBOTA Director Born in 1960.CEO of Solidjam Inc. He has been directing mainly documentary TV programmes and image products since 1983, and awarded a number of prizes, such as Galaxy Award, ATP Award, Japan Prime mister Award. In 2007 he was awarded Traiblazer International Award in MIPDOC, which is the world biggest international film contents exhibition taking place in Cannes, France. He was elected as one of “The World Eight Documentarist”. His first directed narrative film “Homeland” officially submitted to Berlin International Film Festival. Kubota received Gold Prize at Shindo Kaneto Awards in 2014. Message
