On operations:
We are working at Mussala's village an area of approximately 40.052m2 near Cuamba district, the team are split in two sections working in the same mine field, the mined area is around the church and close to village that's why we having problems with metal contaminations in the area, this ground after clearance will benefit the populations and they can make farms and use the church for praying and in next week are going on leave.
The life in general
My name is Luis Carlos dos Santos, with 28 years old, was born in Nampula, single, resident in Nampula province at namicopo village, with 2 children's, the first with 9 years at 4a grade and the other with 4 Years not at the school yet.
I Studied until grade eight on Namicopo for Primary and secondary Education and the secondary school and did not go further because I lost register because of financial problems at the same time join Halo.
I am a Muslim and a supporter of Felimo's Party .I does drink, smoke and I like to dance and listen to music.
I did join Halo Trust by radio announcement paramedic and then deminer since 2002, by the money, which I end at Halo I did built my own house, which I would like to make the house better with new furniture and TV, video and tape recorder and various goods.
My relationship among my bosses is fine and I never had problems.
I use to have a problems or difficulties in attending the children's situations when the campaign prolongs.
On my paramedic experience I never had situation (accident) but only with superficial wounds/cuts by grass and as deminer I found 2 mines on my first was very scared but my team helped me a lot.
