During this period the team after finish Mitucue task we've moved to Mussala task with 40050m2 about 200 m from the village near to the church in this area was an mine accident (lady), for it's some times it's difficult to demine because of the high presence on metal or metal contamination.
The life in general
My name is Aurelio Joao , I am 25 years old, I was born in Mogovolas district of Nampula Province, I'm married and with two children, the first born is a girl she's five years old and other is boy with 2 years old.
And the girl she's attending primary school. I studied until grade eight and did not go further because I did not have money to my schools fees, I first went to a school called Escola primaria de Mutauanha then I went to another school called Escola Secundaria de Marrere and I never went to a military course.
I am Muslim , I do five prays a day sometimes it is difficulty due because of the nature of my job, I'm a supporter of Renamo political party I hope Renamo wins the next general elections, I do drink, smoke and I like listen to music but I don't dance because I do not know.
When I gave up school I started working as in the market selling , the money I earned seller was just for meals and not enough for me, so I had to look for a job. I've been working for The HALO Trust since 2001, since then I have found about 6 mines, when I found my first mine I was very scared and happy because was my first experience ,since everything is normal.
Since I am working for HALO I have never received a writing warning . I have a lot of dreams; I would like to build my on house with furniture and safe some money for the future. The salary I receive is not enough for the things I would like to do or to have, I would like to do small business but I have not enough money to start it.
When I am on leave I spent most of the time with my family, we go together to town for small shopping or just for a walk, my family is used to live long time without my presence, in the beginning they missed me a lot but now they're used to my absence. I've no problem with my team and supervisors and I'm very happy to be in Halo.
My main bet is to keep my children in the school; I don't want then to stop as I did.
