On Operations:
Team ten is one of our youngster teams funded by TBS1 and at moment the team is located up in north region of Cabo Delgado Province in a small village called "Namatil" and the team members are just starting their career which they are enjoying lovely and too much according to the statements that we had this afternoon from one of the team members; The demining process is quite good for the time been because the ground is highly soft since we are on the rain season, however the access to the most remote tasks sites is often difficult as the roads state is considerably worse, but HALO Trust continues getting such sites so, our team ten is excellently progressing on removal of lot of mines from the ground and some unexploded ordnances (UXOs).
On Life in general:
I'm 23 years old my is Daudo Manuel Jorge , married with a family of two kids and I'm a Christian. I joined HALO Trust recently - four months ago as a deminer; I interrupted my studies in 1995 as a result of financial crisis, then I joined the ministry of health for couple of weeks working as a servant but without any success, then I moved on to RUMDEL (a road company ) in which I just spent 9 months, now with HALO which I feel quite better and enjoyable environment/ life. There was a threat to get in to the minefield line at the beginning but four months later I'm feeling very confident and professional deminer,.the only obstacle for me is a longing with my wife and my kids as well which I think will be familiarize with from time to time. I bought a furniture and if I last more on this "project" I would like to do a bit more...
