After all the surprises that winter brought at the end of February, the Spring has come at last.
The high tops of the Caucasian mountains are still covered with snow but here at the airport where we are working Spring has come into its own. The cherry trees are starting to bloom reminding us of distant Japan and the people there who uncovered an opportunity to help Abkhazia and make lives safe from mines and UXO for future generations. With spring coming we are more inspired and find more strength for work. They say that spring is the time for love and we do our best to make people think about love not mines!
