The master Vermeer expresses the light that illuminates the happiness in your heart.
Johannes Vermeer is acknowledged as one of the most brilliant painters in the Western art history, and also as a mysterious figure who only left some thirty paintings.
Three-hundred-fifty years after his death, he comes into the limelight again.
The present exhibition features paintings by Johannes Vermeer which are particularly appreciated for their original expression of light and smart touch.
Also on exhibition are paintings by the great masters of Delft, who lived during the same period as Vermeer, namely Carel Fabritius, Pieter de Hooch and so forth.
There has been no occasion until now, when masterpieces have been brought together to this extent in one exhibition put on in Japan.
This will probably be the first and last such exhibition where these masterpieces will captivate your heart.
