Words aren't enough to express how much I love and appreciate this drama. Thank you so much.
The story's well written and coherent, each character is important and portrayed excellently. All the scenes are significant and the lines pierce through the heart and mind. But more than the words, even with just actions and facial expressions, you feel what the characters are going through. The story pulled on the strings of my heart, moved me to tears and made me think a lot.
Yamapi did so well as Sakuto. An adaptation of a best selling novel with a complex character brought on so much pressure but he cut through it and brought out his best performance ever. I couldn't have been more proud as a fan! I look forward to more of his future projects.
It was sad to say goodbye to Sakuto and each of the characters I've come to love but in contrast to the constant struggle and complications every episode, the end left such a light feeling and hope. There were so many life lessons that I've learned through this drama - the importance of time and the power of love among others. The drama may have ended but it will be forever in my heart already.
I can't wait for the DVD/Blu-ray release on November. If it's not too much to ask, I hope it can have English subtitles too so that more people all over the world can also be touched by this masterpiece.
Once again, to the cast, staff, crew and everyone who worked on "Algernon", a job well done and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
