Cultural exchange between Korea and Japan is accelerating with the approach of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. And for the first time in TV drama history, Korean and Japanese staffs have come together to co-produce a love-romance for simultaneous airing in both countries.
This drama, a romance between a Japanese and Korean, does not focus on the difference between these countries. Rather, the two who met by chance happened to be of different nationalities. By featuring the heartbreaking longing of lovers separated by distance, we wish convey the message that "feelings of love are same for each country".
The leading casts are Japanese actress Kyoko Fukada and Won Bin, Asia's new star who was chosen as most popular actor not only in Korea but also in Hong-Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Fukada and Won Bin would be an ideal bridge between Japan and Korea. |
