DigiCon6+3 Contest Summary

1. CATEGORY
   

   Any style of expression or theme for the Work is accepted.The Work entered must be a "Digital Content" (as defined below) and be within 15 minutes in duration. For the purpose of this Contest,"Digital Content" shall represent those works meeting one of the following conditions:
   

   1. Computer graphic animation (2D/3D)
   2. Live-action films shot/edited by digital movie equipment
   3. All 3D-rendered films (Includes stop-motion and clay animation)
   

   DigiCon6+3 also welcomes Works produced in the motif of“global environment (global ecology, environmental issues, etc.)”Those in need of ideas may want to employ this theme for your work.
   

   Adoption of the above-mentioned theme, or none thereof, will not affect the review of your Work in anyway whatsoever.
   

2. ELIGIBILITY
   
   • Anyone is eligible to enter, regardless of age, sex, or citizenship.
   • Both professionals and amateurs are eligible for entry.
   • The applicant must own the copyright of the film submitted.
   • Music used in the film must have been created by the applicant, or be otherwise free from copyright.
   • More than one entry per applicant is accepted.
3. SUBMISSION FORMAT
   

   Entries must be submitted on Mini DV or DVD (NTSC or PAL).

   *PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SUBMITTED ENTRIES WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO THE APPLICANT.

4. JUDGING CRITERIA
   

   Films will be judged based on the following five criteria:

   • Creativity
   • Expressiveness
   • Design and artistic quality
   • Quality of the picture
   • Effective use of music and sound effects
5. APPLICATION PERIOD
   

   The applicant shall submit (deliver) his/her Work during the term commencing from February 1, 2007 and ending on July 3, 2007.
   Any of the Work that is postmarked July 4 or thereafter shall be void.

6. RESULTS
   

   The results are to be announced in the Official Website of this Award on September 29,2007.In addition, the Headquarters will notify each Prize Winner in person.

7. DISCLAIMER
   

   This contest may be cancelled if unexpected incidents occur. In such an event, we will not be held liable for the creators and any other persons concerned. To run the contest fairly, those associated with this contest (secretariat and other staff, as well as sponsors) along with their family members are not allowed to enter.
